The new Rock Opera from 8th Day Nation: Elevator
Elevator
As a wise man once asked, “Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?” The rock opera Elevator is the true story of one man refusing to listen to what he was told he couldn’t do. Coming to the ultimate conclusion that it’s never a case of “Life or Death” but rather “Family and Faith” that really matters. Looking at existence from this perspective makes all the difference. Plus, this album’s got some bangers on it! (Listen to the songs in order if you want the story of Elevator or just pick the songs you want to hear.)

Stand Up
Elevator is not just an album, but a genuine rock opera that tells the story of one man’s journey through a supposedly fatal illness. Rather than accept his fate our hero fights it with everything he’s got. And while doing so he begins to reflect on a life only to come to the revelation that in the end, all that matters is family and faith. Stand up is the first song/video that begins to tell this story. Having to tell his loved ones that it looks grim, he’s confronted with a daughter that refuses to allow that ending. Inspiring him to, if nothing else, fight the good fight. Along the way he realized how much faith plays a role in this impossible quest.
