About the band

8th Day Nation was a project, up until this point, of a loose collection of musician friends who got together every couple of years to record some original music. Then after an extreme illness, songwriter Ron became inspired to write an album based on his experience. Having found faith at the lowest point of life, the story explains not just how to get through the impossible, but more importantly, the “Why”.

Partnering with longtime friend and musician, Mr. Shusto, they recorded demo’s that became the songs put in front of you now. Enlisting a few close friends and musicians they finished the task and realized they had an album that not only addressed the most important issues of family and faith, but also one that opened a can of whoop ass. Ranging from the straightforward rock songs to introspective moments, please sit back and enjoy their work: Elevator.
